The Deutsches Architekturmuseum (Schaumainkai 43, 60596 Frankfurt a. M.) offers an exhibition of Vladimir Ossipoff's architectural works under the title of “Hawaii Moderne” from March 13 until June 14, 2009. During his career lasting more than 60 years, Ossipoff contributed to and maybe even created Hawaii's own architectural style. His creations are influenced by Japanese techniques and regional materials such as local volcanic rocks. Visitors can get an impression of the architect's lifework by photographies, plans, design models, and videos.
