The work of Andreas Feininger is the subject of “New York in the Forties” shown at the Bauhaus- Archiv (Klingelhöferstraße 14, 10785 Berlin) until May 18, 2009. Andreas Feininger, the oldest son of the aforementioned Lyonel Feininger, was a well-known architectural photographer, who, amongst others, worked for LIFE Magazine.
