An interesting comparison of the two friends and artists Paul Klee and Lyonel Feininger can be seen at the Gustav-Lübcke-Museum in Hamm in the exhibition “Lyonel Feininger – Paul Klee: Malerfreunde am Bauhaus” (Neue Bahnhofstraße 9, 59065 Hamm). Both are representatives of the Bauhaus style, but specialized in different motives: Paul Klee preferred nature-related motives, whereas Feininger favored clear and calm architectures.
